A massive earthquake struck Haiti just before 5 p.m. on Jan. 12 2010, about 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince, the country’s capital. The quake was the worst in the region in more than 200 years. The massive devastation that followed is still being felt all around the world. Peaceful prayers, Songs, Drumming, and remembrance of those lost in the dramatic event will be lead my Manbo Sky Bradshaw. Love offering of $5 suggested. All proceeds going back to Haiti. All Paths Welcome. Drums, Songs, Mantras, and Chanting encouraged.

Using Tarot as her main divination system she helps those who sit across the table gain insight and achieve greater control over issues involving relationships, opportunities, and life changes. Reiki One and Two Certifications: January 17th and 20th Reiki One : 6-9pm January 24th and 27th Reiki Two : 6-9pm Reiki is a Japanese healing method for stress reduction and relaxation through energy movement. It is administered by using the chi (energy) that flows through us and is what causes us to be alive by cleaning, clearing, and focusing that energy (allowing it to focus itself, with guidance). If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki has many healing properties and will focus itself where the recipient needs it most. A treatment feels different to each recipient but it is basically described as a warm bath of healing energy. Recipients should feel renewed, refreshed, and more focused once a treatment is finished. Anyone can receive Reiki for any reason. It can help promote healing in conjunction with western medicine or on its own, help emotional healing, and further positive health. Reiki 1 is a 6 hour workshop offered January 17th and 20th : 6-9pm to train you to administer Reiki to yourself and others. You must be present at BOTH classes to receive certification/attunements. We will cover : There will be homework, and this will be an intensive 2 day class but it will give you everything you need for your first degree Reiki Attunement. This workshop is $100 and there is a four person minimum with a $25 non-refundable deposit due by Sunday January 15th. Class is limited to NINE members. Tea with me. Sky’s blended teas and cookies combined with discussion topics for an intimate conversation setting. This months topics will be “Dreams.” How to use, interpret, and gain personal messages from your dreams. Twelve seats are available at my tea table for discussion, fun, and sharing. We will stay loosely on topic of how to use dreams as a vehicle for spirit communication, work within the dream realm, and get the most out of sleep. Many of you have asked for an opportunity just like this to pick my brain, so bring your questions and curiosity! (Spirit Guide readings, Ancestor Advice, and dream interpretation and other things of the sort may come up during tea.) $10 per seat. RSVP’s a MUST with a 4 person Min. 24 hrs in advance!!! Dream interpretation is the process of assigning meaning to dreams. In many of the ancient societies, including Egypt and Greece, dreaming was considered a supernatural communication or a means of divine intervention, whose message could be unraveled by those with certain powers. In modern times, various schools of psychology have offered theories about the meaning of dreams. In the Western world, the first major work on dream interpretation was the 2nd-century Oneirocritica by Artemidorus, which interpreted the meaning of many subjects of dreams. Dream interpretation was taken up as part of psychoanalysis at the end of the 19th century; the perceived, manifest content of a dream is analyzed to reveal its latent meaning to the psyche of the dreamer. One of the seminal works on the subject is The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud. The relationship between dreams and disease is discussed by Hippocrates in a chapter of his famous work.
Artemidorus of Daldis was regarded as the greatest authority on dream-interpretation.
Gruppe speaks of such a classification of dreams, citing Macrobius and Artemidorus: “Dreams were divided into two classes; the first class was believed to be influenced only by the present (or the past), and was unimportant in respect of the future; it included the enuknia (insomnia), which directly reproduce a given idea or its opposite; e.g., hunger or its satiation; and the phantasmata, which elaborate the given idea phantastically, as e.g. the nightmare, ephialtes. The second class of dreams, on the other hand, was determinative of the future.”
Dreams can be traced and tracked back to anceint cultures, pantheons, religious paths, spiritual beliefs, and folk lores when it comes to divinations, connections, and speaking directly to Deity.
No matter what their function, dreams are the food of sleep and a vital role in our health and well being. Be sure to get yours every day.

I know and understand it is a busy time and things come up, but PLEASE cancel with 24 hours notice! It really causes loss of money and time for me if you call me with less notice because I can not fill your slot. I will charge a $20 cancellation fee if you don’t give 24 hours notice. I do not want to have to start taking credit cards to hold appt. slots. Weekend appointments fill up fast so make them quick!
