What are Chakras:
Chakras are pure thought energy that permeates and binds the universe together. This living energy field can be tapped into more deeply, by the application of focused, creative will. Chakra means Wheel in Sanskrit. Raw energy is drawn up from the planet, by the minor chakras in the legs and feet, and fed into the main chakra system. Chakra energy is within us all.
1. MASTER: Base chakra (base of spine, between anus and genitals)
2. Spleen chakra (slightly below the belly button)
3. Solar Plexus chakra (1 hand-span above the belly button)
4. MASTER: Heart chakra (center of the chest)
5. Throat chakra (base of throat, above where it joins the chest)
6. Brow chakra (exact center of forehead)
7. MASTER: Crown chakra (whole top of head above the hairline)
The main seven energy centers, or chakras, are located along the center of the body in the base of spine, abdomen, solar plexus, heart, throat, brow and on the crown.
These centers of energy function as valves which regulate the flow of energy through our subtle body system. Chakras may open or close, based on choices we make regarding our responses, feelings, and decisions for circumstances and situations in our lives. When chakras are closed, there is illness & discord–when open, we are healthy & growing.

Each month we visit with a variety of plants (over 40 total), exploring them through their growth cycle and then work more in depth with 2-3. We will taste, touch, feel, meditate with and learn about both physical and energetic healing qualities. We discuss healing properties of these herbs, engage in sacred harvesting and make at least one herbal medicine to take home for your continued exploration. June’s specific plant focus tentatively includes Lemon Balm, Plantain and Catnip. Classes taught by Herbalist, Arlene Bailey.

Reiki Attunements: I will be offering Reiki 1 Classes in June
Reiki 1 is a 6 hour workshop offered June 9th and 16th 6-9pm to train you to administer Reiki to yourself and others. You must be present at BOTH classes to receive certification/attunements.
We will cover :
History
Reiki Ideals
Meditation
Basic Chakras
Technique ~ including Hand Placements
and receive your first Attunements.
There will be homework, and this
will be an intensive 2 day class but it will give you everything you need for your first degree Reiki Attunement.
This workshop is $100 and there is a four person minimium with a $25 non-refundable deposit due by Sunday June 5th. Class is limited to NINE members. (please note there has been a HUGE request for me to offer this, so make your decision quickly and contact me at tarotbysky@gmail.com to hold your spot) If you need financial considerations or want to consider the barter system feel free to ask.

It really causes loss of money and time for me if you call me with less notice because I can not fill your slot. I will charge a $20 cancellation fee if you don’t give 24 hours notice. I do not want to have to start taking credit cards to hold appt. slots. Weekend appointments fill up fast so make them quick!
